Cynthia Gonzalezreyes
Spring 2026 - Present
Cynthia was born and raised in Las Vegas. After serving in the Marine Corps, she returned to school and is now a senior studying Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience. She plans to pursue a master’s in Clinical Psychology after graduation, driven by a deep interest in understanding people and helping them feel truly seen, heard, and supported. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, birdwatching, and baking with her dog. She’s excited to be part of something meaningful and to grow through the work she’ll do in the lab.
Ana Torres
Summer 2026 - Present
Ana is a senior majoring in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience. Born and raised in Las Vegas, Ana has lived here all her life with her family and her 2 dogs. She is planning to get a masters in Social Work and then a PhD in Clinical Psychology. In her time spent away from school, she is usually working at her cafe as a barista where she enjoys talking with her customers and making people laugh. She loves ice skating, pop music, and reading. Ana is excited to work with the research lab and is eager to make the world a better place!
Kayla Lamatrice
Summer 2026 - Present
Kayla is a sophomore at UNLV and is majoring in Psychology. She was born and raised in Las Vegas. After graduating, Kayla hopes to earn a doctorate in psychology to become a child psychologist. In her free time, Kayla enjoys reading and going on walks. She also has an interest in roller coasters. Kayla is excited to join the UNLV Music Lab to gain valuable research experience.
Marley Roberts
Summer 2026 - Present
Marley is a third-year Multidisciplinary Studies major focusing on psychology and sociology. Originally born in Missouri and raised in Las Vegas, she is passionate about continuing in academia, conducting research, and pursuing a PhD in psychology. Outside of academics, she enjoys painting, reading, and playing the viola. Having just joined the lab this summer, she is especially excited to learn about the lab’s various studies and gain firsthand exposure to a research environment.
